Reinout Getreuer inaugurated as General Manager ELEQ
A new Chapter full of innovation and growth
ELEQ leadership officially transferred to fourth generation, setting a new course for the future.
Steenwijk, The Netherlands, November 5, 2024 – Reinout Getreuer, hitherto Technical Director at ELEQ, officially takes office on November 5 as General Manager of the electrical engineering production company. This step marks not only a change in management, but also heralds a new era in which ELEQ will further strengthen its leading role in the energy sector through innovation and collaboration.
After little over four decades, characterized by his boundless energy and dedication, Robert Getreuer transfers ELEQ’s leadership to his son with confidence. Under Robert’s inspired leadership ELEQ has become a powerful player in the market. His vision and tireless efforts have worked as an accelerator for the company’s growth and progress, laying a solid foundation for the future.

A proud legacy
With Reinout Getreuer taking over all business operations, now the fourth generation at the helm, the family bond remains firmly anchored in the heart of ELEQ, which was founded in 1946 by Herman Faber, Edgar Getreuer and Kurt Getreuer. ELEQ has since developed from a small-scale
manufacturer of precision measuring instruments to a flourishing organization on the international market. Edgar Getreuer’s fundamentals of working with utmost precision, craftsmanship and reliability are still trusted and valued by customers worldwide.
ELEQ offers a wide product range: From reliable transformers and accurate measuring instruments to smart converters and connection cabinets for the energy market. Products are both standardized and tailored to national and international customers, large and small.

100 Days: Optimization and Innovation
Reinout Getreuer rings in the first 100 days of his governance with this official inauguration. During this period he will focus on optimizing the company to boost readiness it for a dynamic future. Specific plans to further streamline and innovate ELEQ will be crafted in collaboration with all departments. Just as ELEQ’s measuring instruments are aimed at providing precision and reliability, contributions of each department will be carefully balanced to ultimately result in a future proof and result-oriented organization.
This track will conclude with festivities for both the German and Dutch locations in Steenwijk, The Netherlands. The exact details will also be worked out in the next 100 days. “We are always eager to invite colleagues, customers and relations to celebrate our collaborations, however, I am also considering a public iteration in which we welcome people from our region, ” comments Reinout.
