With those transformers the length and diameter of the secondary cabling have become less relevant and load resistors are redundant. Nevertheless, the load is in compliance with the regulations for kWh meters. As a result, less information is required when ordering the transformer. Another advantage is the availability of test reports online. Every individually tested transformer is provided with an unique 2D serial number with which the test reports can be found online, which eliminates test reports.
Additionally the transformer range connects easily because of the clear rating plate with complete information. The rating plate includes full technical details according to CE standard, an arrow indicating the power flow direction and a 2D bar code with serial number.
